TURCO’s wide range of decarbonisers holds an important place amongst its many specialities for industry. These products are developed for use in the maintenance and cleaning of parts and accessories with accumulations of burnt grease, tar, paint and other contaminants. They are used by means of immersion at ambient temperature on all kinds of metal, including aluminium, and act by physically stripping the accumulated burnt layers.

Common uses included the cleaning of carburettors, pistons, spare parts and areas of disassembled engines. They are also used for cleaning kitchen utensils such as oven plates, bread moulds, etc., and, in general, all those parts where the removal of carbon and soot is made difficult due the sheer amount of particles and accumulated layers.
