TURCO 5981 is a viscous, amber, liquid paint remover formulated to remove multiple coats of paints, such as baked enamels, varnishes, synthetic enamels, zinc chromate primers, epoxies and polyurethanes from railroad equipment by nonatomizing spray, brush or flow-on methods.

TURCO 5981 paint remover clings to vertical as well as overhead surfaces and can be used on aluminium, magnesium, cadmium plated steels as well as ferrous metales.
T-5981 meet the requirement MIL-R-81294B Amend 1 Type II
Apply by brush, nanotomizing spray, of flow-on ( no spray tip) methods to surface rquiring stripping. Apply a smooth, even coat and allow sufficient dwell time for remover to penetrate and loosen paint. When paint is loosened, thoroughly agitate the surface with a stiff bristle brush. If paint adheres to specific areas, reapply TURCO 5981 and allow additional dwell time before rising.
